Services Available at Laughing Lotus Acupuncture:

Initial Consultation for Acupuncture: $130.00

Your Initial Consultation includes a thorough discussion of your health history, and current concerns, including your reasons for seeking acupuncture treatment. Once we have touched on each of your vital concerns, you will receive your first acupuncture treatment. Initial Consultations typically last between 1.5-2 hours in length.

Acupuncture Follow-Up Treatment: $90.00

Once you have completed your Initial Consultation, I recommend treatment once a week for a period of 6-8 weeks, or longer if needed, to address all symptoms. By the 6-8 week mark, we reaccess the benefits that you are receiving, and most often you can start coming once every 2 weeks, and then once a month for maintenance. I recommend once a week for Fertility until you are pregnant. During pregnancy, once a week during the first trimester can be helpful, every 2-3 weeks for the second trimester, and then once a  week during the third trimester. As always, we can and will tailor this plan to your needs.

Acupuncture Follow-Up Package: $400.00

A package of 5 acupuncture follow-up treatments offer a discount for you, at $400 per package.  

Cupping/Gua Sha sessions: Stand alone $50.00, As Add-on to acupuncture $25.00

Stand alone Cupping and Gua Sha treatments are offered at Laughing Lotus. The initial appointment lasts 45 minutes, and follow-up appointments last 30 minutes. Additionally, you may add-on cupping and gua sha to your acupuncture treatment, for an additional $25.

Moxibustion treatment: Included with acupuncture treatment, if needed.

For breech presentation during pregnancy, acupuncture and moxibustion treatment are most effective.

Mobile Fertility Center Treatment for pre-IVF & post IVF transfer: $350.00

Arranged ahead of time, Kari will meet you at your fertility center, provided they have a room for acupuncturists, and they are notified by you in advance that Kari is coming. Kari will treat you 25-30 minutes prior to your IVF transfer and then again for 25-30 minutes after your transfer. There have been numerous studies done showing that acupuncture before and after the IVF transfer not only enhances the positive pregnancy results by 26% higher rates than without acupuncture, but also enhances chances of maintaining a pregnancy.

Kari is not in-network with any insurance company. She can provide a super receipt for treatments, once they have been given. HSA and Flex Spending can be used towards acupuncture treatment.
